Full Time | Competitive Pay - Up to $65/hr based on experience

YOUR IMPACT
This K–2 Special Education Teacher leads a program at a public elementary school supporting students with behavioral challenges who are included in general education classrooms. The teacher collaborates with paraeducators to provide in-class support and also works with students in small pull-out sessions to help them regulate and successfully return to the classroom.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Valid Massachusetts Teaching License with Special Education (Moderate Disabilities) certification
• Eligible to teach in MA through DESE
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
• Experience designing & delivering individualized instruction for students with disabilities
• Knowledge of MA Special Education laws and IEP development
• Experience supervising classrooms with support staff (paras)
• Familiarity with MCASAlt. assessments
• Comfort with students in behavioral/socialemotional programs and life skills/developmental delay programs
