Students are middle school aged.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a developmentally appropriate classroom, and promoting emotional and social growth for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They will also:
* Supervise and monitor student'sactivities throughout the school day.
* Ensure student's safety within school building and surrounding areas.
* Work 1:1 with students to ensure a safe, nurturing, and academically stimulating environment.
* Maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
* Ensuring students safety getting on and off the bus in the morning and afternoon.
* Assist with establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, projects and the like, to communicate these objectives to students.
* Help Establish and maintain cooperative relations with others.
* Perform such tasks and assume such responsibilities as directed by the Teacher.
